Recurrent Dreams...

Are They Familiar Friends or Cause for Concern?

Lately I’ve been dreaming a lot about strange hybrid animals – foxes crossed with dogs, a hyena that becomes a mongoose, a deer with cheetah spots. I have also had recurrent dreams where I revisit a place that is an enchanted forest world, a bit like the elves’ Rivendell home from Lord of the Rings. I am always more curious about dream themes or places that revisit. The forest world feels like an alternate home to me. The hybrid animals are more of a worry – they are often in distress or endangered. Are they speaking to me about the degradation of the environment, or are they touching on mythic themes related to my own life?

In this webinar, you will learn about the nature of recurrent dreams and nightmares, when you should be concerned about them, and what you can do to respond to them – to either capture their wisdom, or metabolize their message so they can transform.

In this webinar you will learn:

What we now know about recurrent dreams, a summary of the latest research

What it means to have dreams that repeat

Kinds of recurring dreams (ie visitation dreams, lifelong themes, trauma nightmares)

An experiential practice to engage with recurring dreams

Recurrent nightmares: what they mean diagnostically, and how to help transform these challenging dreams
